Sodium Thioglycolate

Molecular Formula: HSCH2COONa

Mainly used as an inhibitor for copper-molybdenum separation, effectively depressing copper sulfide, pyrite, and galena. It is used in small dosages and can replace sodium sulfide and sodium cyanide, providing conditions for cyanide-free separation with improved environmental safety. The general dosage is about 50 g/ton of ore, while the actual dosage should follow laboratory test results.
