Polyacrylamide is widely used in mineral processing for flotation, leaching, and solid–liquid separation of zinc, manganese, copper, and coal ores. It enhances sedimentation, filtration, and recovery efficiency, and improves separation performance when added to leach solutions or residues. It can also be combined with inorganic flocculants such as PAC or aluminum sulfate to achieve better clarification results.
