Molecular Formula: C5H11OCSSNa(K)
Sodium/Potassium amyl xanthate is a collector with strong collecting ability and broad selectivity. It is widely used in the flotation of copper, zinc, and nickel ores and pyrite, and is especially effective for the floatation of auriferous pyrite. It can significantly improve gold recovery in gold and copper ores, and also shows good performance in the flotation of cooper-lead oxidized ores. It is normally used in roughing and scavenging operations.
