Sodium/Potassium ethyl xanthate is a collector with good selectivity, widely applied in the flotation of copper, zinc, and nickel ores and pyrite. It is especially effective for gold flotation in gold and copper ores and shows good performance in the flotation of copper-lead oxidized ores. It is normally used in roughing and scavenging operations.
